Finding desserts that won't trigger allergies can be a real struggle. When I eat at a restaurant, I often skip dessert because there are no dairy-free or nut-free dessert options. However, I always jump at the chance of ordering sorbet. With my dad's help, I came up with a sorbet recipe that you can make at home. You can store it in your freezer and eat it whenever you crave something sweet. Enjoy!

Ingredients:
2 pints raspberry
3 cups water
3 cups organic sugar
¾ cups fresh squeezed lemon juice
1g guar gum
Directions:
Wash and drain the raspberries.
In a saucepan, combine the raspberries, sugar, and water. Bring to a gentle boil and simmer for 15-20 minutes until the raspberries are soft and mushy. Strain the mixture to remove the raspberry seeds and skins. Pour the mixture into a container and refrigerate overnight.
The next day, combine the lemon juice, raspberry mixture and guar gum. Slowly whisk the mixture to dissolve the guar gum.
Pour the mixture in a sorbet/ice cream machine and follow the machine’s instructions.
